WNBA Star Kelsey Plum Goes Braless, Wears Revealing Leather Vest to Season Opener
The WNBA season is officially underway after the Las Vegas Aces triumphed over the Phoenix Mercury in last night's season opener. The league has been having a moment in the spotlight in recent months thanks to the drafting of up-and-coming stars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, and many of the WNBA's major players today have similarly become pop cultural figures.
Las Vegas Aces point guard Kelsey Plum is among those stars. The two-time WNBA champ just appeared in a new ad campaign for Skims alongside some other big names in the league: Skylar Diggins-Smith, DiJonai Carrington, Candace Parker, and new Los Angeles Sparks draftee Cameron Brink. "Me on the court is fire," Plum declared in the clip. "I'm so blessed to be able to play this game. I feel like I have the best job in the world. I love the competition of basketball and I just love to win."
When it came time to kick off the new WNBA season on May 14, Plum showed up to Las Vegas' Michelob Ultra Arena in style, wearing head-to-toe Alexander Wang as she made her way to the locker room. She ditched a bra and wore a black leather vest and paired it with AW's low-waist leather trousers, boots, and patent leather bag.
Plum shared photos and video of the look on Instagram. "Ring night," she captioned the post, alluding to the Aces' receiving their 2023 championship rings and raising their second-ever victory banner at the game last night.
The Las Vegas Aces' next game is against the Los Angeles Sparks on May 18. It remains to be seen what Plum will wear to the arena.
