Who won big at the MTV VMAs 2022? Every winner, including Taylor Swift, Lil Nas X, Bad Bunny

Corrections & clarifications: A previous version of the list incorrectly identified the winner of MTV’s video for good award.

Nicki Minaj can now add Video Vanguard to her superstar résumé.

At Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, Minaj accepted the show’s lifetime achievement award for her artistry and global superstar status. The honor is named after Michael Jackson, and Minaj gave him a shout-out during her acceptance speech.

"I wish that Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson were here," said Minaj, referring to the importance of mental health. "I wish that people understood what they meant and what they were going through. I wish people took mental health seriously, even for the people who you think have the perfect lives."

In honoring other legends, MTV also awarded the Red Hot Chili Peppers with the Global Icon Award after being introduced by Cheech & Chong as their "favorite band of all time."
