The partnership (which was announced back in January) marks a new era for WWE fans, with live weekly programming unfolding 52-weeks a year on Netflix. In addition to Monday Night Raw, Netflix will deliver additional WWE content to audiences including SmackDown, NXT, and premium live events such as WrestleMania, Royal Rumble and SummerSlam. These events can be seen on Netflix starting January 6, 2025 in most international markets around the world.
Netflix’s latest livestream event, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, caused quite a hullabaloo with its occasional buffering/freezing and sound issues. That event was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, Nov. 16. The star-studded ringside audience included Evander Holyfield, Shaquille O’Neal, Sugar Ray Leonard, Jerry Jones, Charlize Theron, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka (of Netflix’s Cobra Kai), Josh Duhamel (of Netflix’s upcoming Ransom Canyon), Joe Jonas, Joe Manganiello, Lennox Lewis, Rob Gronkowski, Mike Epps, Simu Liu, Daddy Yankee, Anderson Silva, Tom Segura, Jeff Ross and Joey Fatone.
