Yahoo readers have a lot to say about Camila Cabello’s apology for old racist posts
Havana oh no no! Camila Cabello found herself having apologize on social media yesterday after Twitter users discovered an old Tumblr account of hers that contained racist posts.
The outrage towards Cabello began after Twitter user @MotivateFenty posted a series of links to the singer’s Tumblr account that included offensive content, including memes and GIFs that were racist towardsthe African-American and Mexican communities and even a domestic abuse joke about Rihanna and Chris Brown’s former relationship.
Word of the account’s discovery clearly got back to the 22-year-old singer, because the Tumblr was swiftly deleted and shortly after, Cabello put an apology out on her social media accounts, including her Instagram Story and Twitter, where she included the caption, “I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart.”
