Yellowcard releasing new music, playing two shows in Jacksonville this weekend
Yellowcard came roaring out of Jacksonville in the '00s, riding the wave of pop-punk that was dominating radio at the time, playing on the Warped Tour and selling millions of records.
Now they're in their 40s and on tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their biggest album, "Ocean Avenue." The tour stops by Daily's Place for two concerts this weekend, with Mayday Parade, Story of the Year, This Wild Life and Emo Night Brooklyn opening the shows. A handful of tickets are still available.
Here's what you ought to know about them.
Is Yellowcard from Jacksonville?
Yes, they are. The band formed in the late '90s at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville and played many of its first shows in the city.
