It’s the end of an era for Wendy Moniz. On August 4, the Guiding Light alumna took to Instagram to share that she’d reached not just the wrap of a day or even a season’s taping but the “series wrap for me on Yellowstone.” What’s more, she added, she’s “been having all the feels: sentimental, proud, grateful, to name a few.”

Since the Paramount Network hit’s debut in 2018, Moniz has played Lynelle Perry, who went from being Montana’s governor to a senator while maintaining a hold on the heart of sometime loverboy John Dutton (Kevin Costner). In Season 5B, premiering November 10, Lynelle is sure to get caught up in the drama surrounding the attempt to oust John from the governor’s office — by his own adopted son Jamie (Wes Bentley). And that’s if they don’t kill each other first! (They’re not the only characters at risk of being offed.)

“What a beautiful experience I’ve had here,” Moniz marveled. “Just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated and kind people.

“I completed my last scene August 1, then recalled having previously shared a gratitude post,” she added. “Looking back, it was on the same date two years ago.”

As hard as it may be for Moniz to believe that her run on Yellowstone is over (unless Lynelle turns up on spinoff The Madison), she’ll carry with her wonderful memories. “There’s been a lot to reflect on because this place, with the exceptional people who make it live and breathe, has often felt like a home away from home for me over these last seven years,” she said. “Sharing some favorite captures during the course of that time for y’all.” (See the pics here.)
