YG Announces Just Re'd Up Summer 2024 Tour amid Seventh Album Rollout
The West Coast rapper's tour will kick off next month just before the release of his forthcoming album, 'Just Re'd Up 3'
YG is hitting the road this summer just in time for his new album.
The West Coast “Big Bank” rapper, 34, announced his Just Re’d Up tour on Monday revealing 23 dates for shows scheduled across North America from late June through August. “Let me know what songs yall wanna hear in the komments,” the “Who Do You Love?” artist told fans on Instagram while dropping a presale link.
Special guests Doe Boy and DJ Vision will join YG for his tour run, which kicks off on June 28 in his hometown of Los Angeles, Calif., before concluding in Hawaii on Aug. 17.
Doe Boy posted about the tour news on social media, excitedly writing, “BEAT ME THERE DON’T MEET ME THERE ??.” “‘Walk Down’ was my break through record so it’s only right @yg ??????,” the Cleveland rapper added of his 2019 track with YG.
Just hours before his tour announcement, YG revealed on social media that his seventh studio album, Just Re’d Up 3, is due out on July 3. The Compton-born rapper teased the news by posting the cover artwork for his first two Just Re’d Up projects, confirming that the third installment will have a similar look. “Yall see where im going wit the album cover tho ??,” he wrote on X.
YG’s tour dates and album news follow his latest single, “Knocka,” his first solo release of the year, which dropped on April 26. He debuted an on-brand music video for the head-nodding track — filled with expensive cars, women, and pyrotechnics — the same day.
“THIS S— IS A KNOCKA?,” the “Bulletproof” rapper captioned a teaser clip on Instagram.
YG dropped his last album, I Got Issues, in 2022. He followed up with a joint “playlist” with fellow West Coast rhymer Tyga last year called Hit Me When U Leave The Klub, which featured Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Blxst.
Back in April, the My Krazy Life artist signed a multi-album global recordings partnership with BMG under his 4Hunnid record label, which set the stage for his forthcoming album. According to Deadline, the 4HUNNID podcast host is also working on developing a drama series with Amazon MGM Studios called Don’t Come To L.A., for which he’ll serve as an executive producer.
Tickets for YG’s Just Re’d Up tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. Check out all dates below.
