Yolanda Hadid Slams Stephanie Seymour for Calling Daughter Gigi, Kendall Jenner 'Bitches of the Moment': 'It's Sad'

No one messes with Yolanda Hadid‘s girls! Gigi Hadid‘s mother is proving that she’s in her daughter’s corner, snapping back at supermodel Stephanie Seymour for saying that Gigi and pal Kendall Jenner are “ Bitches of the moment” rather than supermodels.

Foster tells TMZ, “It’s sad to see some of these beautiful semi-retired supermodels, who are mothers themselves now, feel the need to publicly put down someone else’s daughter.”

This comes after Seymour, one of the “original six” supermodels, told Vanity Fair that she thought the title “supermodel” wasn’t fitting for the new crew of social media-famous starlets making it big in the model world.

“They are completely different than we were,” Seymour, 47, told the magazine. “Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title,” she expressed, before adding, “Bitches of the moment! That would be a good title for them.”

Jenner stood up for herself and her model BFF publicly in a post on her website. “If you choose to be a cyberbully, I’m going to stick up for myself,” she said. “No one is trying to steal Stephanie Seymour’s thing, or trying to be her. I actually looked up to her. She has a daughter! I guarantee you that she didn’t imagine someone so publicly shaming her daughter when she made those comments about us being ‘bitches of the moment’.”

And Gigi seconded Kendall’s comments on Twitter — even before her mom spoke out — chiming in with a:
