Young & Restless’ Hunter King Gets Cookin’ With a New Leading Man… With a Very Familiar Face

Consider this Christmas… wrapped. Although  September 17, Young & Restless alum Hunter King (ex-Summer) shared a photo of herself cooking up a storm with All My Children vet Jonathan Bennett (JR). The reason? Aside from the Christmas-tree emoji and their festive sweaters, unclear. But we do have an educated guess. (Don’t we always?)

We suspect that King is going to guest-star on Bennett’s upcoming Hallmark+ series, Finding Mr. Christmas, a reality competition in which aspiring actors vie for the lead in a Hallmark holiday movie. Bennett created and is executive-producing the show and has tapped as head judge Melissa Peterman, who is no stranger to Yuletide fare herself. Among the Young Sheldon and Reba star’s credits are such flicks as A Gingerbread Romance, Haul Out the Holly and its sequel, Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up.

As if Bennett didn’t already have fa la la la lot on his plate, the soap grad and Mean Girls heartthrob, who celebrates his second wedding anniversary with husband James Vaughan in March, is starring in the sequel to Three Wise Men and a Baby during Hallmark’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas. Next up for King is Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, premiering November 30 on Hallmark Channel.
