Young & Restless’ Michelle Stafford Salutes an ‘Angel of a Man’: ‘There Are No Words’ That Do Him Justice
You may have thought that August 25 was just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill day. But, in fact, it was anything but. It was the birthday of The Young and the Restless’ one and only Christian Jules LeBlanc, the MVP who plays Michael Baldwin. Needless to say, on- and off-screen pal Michelle Stafford wasn’t going to let the occasion pass her by without acknowledgement.
“Happy birthday,” she cheered, “to this amazing human! This angel of a man! This great friend! A true light!

Stafford and LeBlanc go way back, to his 1997 return as Young & Restless as Michael. Since then, the two of them have played countless storylines as the smarter-than-the-room lawyer and his trouble-prone bestie, Phyllis Summers. (If only Stafford had been playing Phyllis when the character had her affair with Michael; what a blast that would’ve been! But we digress… )
