‘Young Sheldon’ Co-Star Annie Potts Worries About Show Being Her Swan Song
The upcoming finale of Young Sheldon has been emotional for its cast. And not necessarily for the reason you’d expect.
Annie Potts (who plays Meemaw on the series) and Zoe Perry (Mary Cooper) visited The Talk and admitted the conclusion is bringing a mix of feelings, particularly for 71-year-old Potts.

“I mean, I love the cast,” said Potts. “Wonderful character to play. But hey, I’m old. This could be my last rodeo. I mean, I thought about that, though, panicked me a little bit. These things are hard to come by. I’ve had a couple, but they were all tough. So yeah.”
Asked whether she’s taken any memorabilia from the set, Potts pointed a finger. “Zoe stole some stuff!”
Perry confessed. “I may have taken a little watch…my husband said, ‘Will you please bring that back?’ I was like, ‘The watch, really?’ I’m constantly fidgeting with it, maybe that’s why he noticed it.”
Potts asked, “Does it work?”
Perry admitted, “No.”
As for whether either actress will appear in a rumored spinoff, both said they haven’t been given any word.
