Is it possible that Young Sheldon looks too cool now?

The Big Bang Theory spinoff delivered not one, but two Easter eggs during Thursday’s Season 5 finale. The same episode that enlisted Penn and Teller — the latter of whom recurred as dad to Mayim Bialik’s Amy Farrah Fowler on the mothership — culminated in the boy genius making a radical change. On the precipice of adulthood, Sheldon swapped his signature button-down shirt for his very first graphic tee: a red crewneck with a Flash emblem, not unlike the one he frequently wore on Big Bang.
