Zoe Salda?a Brings the Drama in Voluminous Saint Laurent Gown With Bubble Hem Bodice for the ‘Emilia Pérez’ Los Angeles Premiere
Zoe Salda?a opted for a pop of voluminous color while attending the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of “Emilia Pérez” on Monday, alongside fellow cast members Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón and the creative team of the film.
For the occasion, Salda?a chose a Saint Laurent design. She wore a dramatic strapless gown with a voluminous fuchsia bodice featuring ruching, pleating and a bubble hem, atop a slim-fitting black skirt with pockets.

The drama of Salda?a’s look continued with a revealing plunging backline. She accessorized with Cartier jewelry.
For her glam, the actress’ hair was styled into a tight chignon by Mara Roszak. Her makeup, by Vera Steimberg, featured bold eyes and brows with a soft pink lip. Salda?a’s look was curated by stylist Petra Flannery, who has also collaborated with Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon, among others.
Beyond the film’s stars wearing designs by Saint Laurent throughout the “Emilia Pérez” promotional tour, the French luxury fashion house has an intimate connection to the production of the film. Saint Laurent Productions coproduced the Jacques Audiard-directed picture.
Last May, the film won the coveted Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival, with jury president Greta Gerwig honoring Salda?a, Gomez, Gascón and Adriana Paz for their collective performances in the musical drama. Gascón wore a Saint Laurent dress when accepting the award onstage.
“Emilia Pérez” follows lawyer Rita, played by Salda?a, who takes a job to help a well-known cartel boss, played by Gascón, disappear and become the women she was always meant to be. The film has a limited theatrical release beginning Nov. 1 and hits Netflix Nov. 13.
