Zoe Saldana Styles Striking Blue Dress With Strappy Aquazzura Sandals at Annual Celebration of Latino Cinema and Television

Zoe Saldana made a colorful splash at the Critics Choice Association’s 4th annual Celebration of Latino Cinema and Television in Los Angeles Tuesday night.
The “Avatar” actress, who was honored with the Groundbreaker Award at the ceremony, stepped out in a cornflower blue silk dress with a high neck and an open back. The sleeveless ankle-length dress featuring a ribbed knit navy belt design is from Brandon Maxwell‘s spring 2025 collection. On foot, Saldana wore Aquazzura’s “Talk to Me” slingback sandals.
The strappy style is crafted from black suede and set on a skinny stiletto heel measuring just over 4 inches tall. Furthermore, the sandal is designed with a rounded toe and slender straps that come together in an asymmetrical fashion.
Saldana regularly works with popular stylist Petra Flannery, whose other celebrity clients include Amy Adams, Renée Zellweger, Reese Witherspoon and Emma Stone. The night before last, Flannery put Saldana in a show-stopping black and pink Saint Laurent gown for the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix film “Emilia Pérez.”
Saldana has been very busy recently doing press for the French musical crime comedy-drama film, which co-stars Selena Gomez. As such, she’s shown off a number of stylish looks throughout the promotional tour. Some of her most noteworthy shoes of late include red-hot pointed leather knee-high boots, glossy black patent leather pumps boasting an angular heel, and sheer mesh mule sandals.
Over the course of her career, the 46-year-old has consistenly showcased elegant and glamorous looks on the red carpet. Unafriad to take fashion risks, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star has been known to wear bold sandals, boots and the like that tend to garner stares. When it comes to footwear, she favors features like snakeskin uppers, knotted straps, big platforms, metallic details and vibrant colors.
