Zoe Saldana had a corporate core moment outside “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” studio on Nov. 13 at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.
The actress has been actively promoting her latest film, “Emilia Perez,” which premiered on Nov. 1 and is now available to stream on Netflix. The Spanish-language film features Saldana in the role of Rita, while Selena Gomez portrays the character Jessi Del Monte. Set in Mexico, the story revolves around a lawyer who receives an unexpected offer to assist a notorious cartel boss in retiring from his criminal activities and vanishing by transforming into the woman he has always longed to be.
The film garnered recognition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May, winning the Jury Prize, while the female cast led by Saldana collectively received the Best Actress award. The film is already gaining massive Oscars buzz ahead of award’s season.
For the interview, Saldana dressed in a dark gray pantsuit, striped shirt, and matching back tie. The blazer offered an oversized fit while the pants perfectly billowed over her feet. The smooth leather pumps showcase a 4.33-inch stiletto heel and a refined square toe adorned with a logo-engraved metallic cap.
