‘Zootopia 2’: Ke Huy Quan Joins Cast Of Upcoming Animated Sequel

There’s a new citizen coming to Zootopia.

Ke Huy Quan is joining the cast of Zootopia 2 as a snake named Gary, star Ginnifer Goodwin announced during Friday night’s Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23.

“Now, reptiles have a shady past,” she said, teasing that only Quan’s Gary could send the crew “on a whole new mission.”

Of the slithering reptile, Goodwin added: “creepy, slithery, [and] highly venomous.”

Zootopia 2 is hitting cinemas over the Thanksgiving break on November 26, 2025. The 2016 first movie grossed more than $1 billion and won the Oscar for Best Animated Film.
