The Wu-Tang rapper is set to open Hashstoria, a cannabis lounge in Newark, New Jersey, according to Jersey Digs.

“My own life compass has been great to me and can only become greater…these are goals and admirations on my vision board. I’m just marking them off,” Raekwon said in an Instagram post.

“I’d like to thank team @hashstoria and the beautiful city of Newark New Jersey for their support,” he continued. “We’re very grateful. Community goals !!!! Lets uplift us!”

The new establishment, located at 799-805 Broad Street in downtown Newark, will be Hashstoria’s fourth location. The outlet notes that the announcement comes on the heels of New Jersey’s Cannabis Regulatory Commission allowing customers to consume marijuana where it is sold in certain licensed locations — marking the state as the eight in the U.S. to approve onsite cannabis consumption.

The cannabis lounge is yet another addition to Raekwon’s business ventures. As previously reported by AfroTech, he became a major investor in CitizenGrown — a startup that pays people to grow weed in their own homes. He also had a cannabis strain under Chris Webber’s brand Players Only.

In addition to cannabis, Raekwon has a wine brand Licataa, which secured a deal to be distributed through Legacy Wines & Spirits, a Black-owned distribution company based in Kentucky.

“I knew that I was destined for something bigger than what it was,” he said at the wine’s initial launch. “I just ain’t know when it was coming. I carried with me that same mentality as I grew into a man. A man who later became an artist, a hustler, an icon, and lastly, but not least, a Hip Hop legend. As my career continues to evolve becoming involved in the world of wine, this was something I felt was a perfect fit.”
