Dinner: Just Braise It

Set it and forget it meals are a busy home cook’s godsend. Especially if there are many mouths to feed (and, in between, Lego war zones to be settled and raspberry jam stains to be washed off T-shirts). The key word, here: braise, because it means you can do about 10 minutes of chopping and sautéing, then put the lid on that heavy pot and walk away. Come back an hour later and all of the ingredients have married together, the meat is tender, the broth is hot, and dinner is served (by you!). Here are seven recipes to get you started.
