Homemade Shamrock Shakes for St. Patrick's Day
Kendra Vizcaino-Lico
It isn’t easy being green, except when you’re slurping down a shamrock shake. Every March, fast-food titan McDonald’s rolls out its much anticipated and long beloved St. Paddy’s themed shakes. The minty, green drinks are only available for a few weeks, and just at participating locations. The limited availability of the sweet sippers leaves many of the shake’s devotees without a tasty St. Patrick’s Day treat. We’ve developed recipes with some chocolaty, nutty, and boozy twists on the classic so you don’t have miss out on this seasonal sensation.
