The complete recipe for microwave kale chips is below:
Microwave Kale Chips
Serves 2 to 3
5 ounces curly kale
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Fold kale in half along the spine. Gently rip out the spine of the kale. Tear leaves into 2-inch pieces. Wash and dry kale thoroughly. Place kale in a large bowl and toss with oil and salt. Spread 1/3 of the kale in a single layer on a plate. Microwave at full power for 3 minutes. If leaves are crispy remove, if not, microwave in 30 second increments until crispy. Repeat with remaining kale. Store chips in an airtight container.
