What's the "one thing" you always have on hand to pair with Fresh Vine Wine?

Nina Dobrev: The duo of our Sparkling Brut Rosé with Whole Food’s tabbouleh salad is unmatched. The sparkling’s long-lasting bubbles cut through and buoy the Mediterranean flavors of the salad. You can also never go wrong with pairing our Chardonnay with Fishwife The Fly By Jing Smoked Salmon Trio! The salmon with a bit of pop and smoke plays wonderfully with the golden apple and hazelnut flavors in the wine.

What's one surprising food and wine pairing that shouldn't work, but totally does?

Julianne Hough: To your surprise, our Rosé pairs amazingly with Torres Extra Virgin Olive Oil Potato Chips! Our wines are usually paired with heartier foods like steak or fish, but potato chips are an unsuspecting pairing that has become a favorite of ours. I love the crunch of the chips and the combination of olive oil, salt and the Rosé’s fresh flavors of nectarine, stone fruit and melon are unbeatable.

How did you develop a premium wine brand while still keeping it naturally low in carbs and calories?

ND: We worked with our incredible winemaker Jamey Whetstone, who loves healthy living and has been in Napa for more than 20 years, to create a premium wine that complemented active lifestyles. We determined together that there had to be an alternative and something else to fill this void in the industry.
JH: Using only high-quality ingredients and without compromising taste, we introduced Fresh Vine Wine into the market as a guilt-free, affordable wine.

Any new TikTok recipes you can't wait to try?

ND: We've seen Baked by Melissa's Green Goddess Salad recipe go insanely viral on TikTok this past year, and definitely plan to test out the recipe this summer.

What's your plan for National Wine Day this year?

JH: Some of our favorite memories together were shared over a glass of wine, so this holiday gives us the perfect excuse to pour some more! Our schedules can be super hectic at times, but we’ll luckily both be in the same city on the day and we plan to catch up over dinner with a glass or two.

What do you plan on serving at parties this summer?

ND: Julianne and I love to throw extravagant dinner parties during the summertime, and Fresh Vine Wine is a staple of these parties. You can never go wrong with a yummy charcuterie sampling of meats and cheeses to start, and our Brut Rosé is a perfect pairing.

In addition to wine, what's your go-to hostess gift to bring to parties?

ND: I think flowers are a fun gift for any hostess! Flowers can really light up a room and are the perfect accent for any table setting.
JH: Diffusers are also a great gift! These are essential in my home—scents can really lighten the ambiance of gatherings with friends and diffusers are strong enough to make your entire home smell good.
