Crocs are known to be an affordable outdoor shoe, perfect for children and adults alike to slip on for a casual jaunt out in the world. While the Classic Clog retails for $49, the brand occasionally drops a unique shoe with a surprisingly high price tag attached to it — usually created in collaboration with another brand.
From the Balenciaga Hardcrocs worn by the likes of Elliot Page and North West to the Liberty London clog adorned with a silk scarf, the more expensive Crocs certainly differentiate themselves from the touchstone style. Read on to see ten of the priciest Crocs released to date.
Balenciaga Women’s Hardcrocs Mule in black — $1,190
The Hardcrocs Mule is one Croc to have hit the market above the lofty $1,000 threshold. It features a 110 mm platform, 10 mm arch and a range of metallic details lending the shoes an edgy industrial feel.
Balenciaga and Crocs also teamed up to create a boot, adding a tall shaft to a Crocs foundation. The shoe features a 20 mm arch and the Balenciaga logo embossed at the top.
The partnership between Crocs and Balenciaga includes a number of bold shoes, including this faux fur mule. The fuzzy upper is made of acrylic/polyester material.
This slide style in the Balenciaga collection features an open toe and open back, leaving the Crocs strap behind. This particular option is patterned with a graffiti design bearing the luxury brand name.
MSCHF x Crocs Big Red Boot (Yellow) — $450
MSCHF, known for creating campy and eccentric shoes, adapted their hit Big Red Boot in a Crocs style, adding a strap and oversized holes to the purposefully cartoonish boot silhouette.
Luxury brand MCM and Crocs created a unique shoe featuring a mini zip pouch inspired by the Fursten belt bag — it can also be removed from the shoe and used as a bracelet. Additionally, the strap comes with a padded heel cushion.
While this might not be a shoe, as it is a technically a bag, the footwear brand’s collaboration with Pizzaslime is worth a mention for bringing a $300 cross-body clog-shaped purse into the world.
Crocs partnered with British fashion company Liberty London to launch a line of vibrantly patterned shoes enhanced with colorful silk scarves covering the strap and upper.
Balenciaga and Crocs’ stiletto-heeled clog took the world by storm in 2021. By simply elevating the classic clog style with a heel that flared at the bottom, the Croc became a shoe befitting of a formal occasion.
Crocs’ collaboration with Simone Rocha produced a shoe that’s priced on the cheaper side when compared to Balenciaga — but still far above the usual price of a Classic Clog. An official description from Simone Rocha’s website reads, “Simone Rocha x Crocs explores the creative juxtaposition of femininity and utilitarianism to bring to life new designs that marry Crocs’ iconic brand DNA with the Simone Rocha aesthetic.”
