Having a true best friend is already great, but if you also happen to vibe ~perfectly~ on how clean you are and what you'd want your living space to look like à la eerily-similar Pinterest boards? Damn. Getting an apartment together or splitting a dorm room is then guaranteed to be one of the highlights of your life, and you'll love every moment of it. Here are 10 reasons to be hyped as hell to move in with your bestie:

1. You never have to figure out when you're both free to hang. You're either already doing it because you live together, or it's a two-second convo instead of a 10 minute text exchange trying to nail down each others' schedules.

2. IKEA and Target trips together are the best. Deciding which accent rugs and string lights to buy so you can make your place look Insta-worthy is a bonding experience like no other.

3. You get to invite all your friends over when you're too lazy to go anywhere. Honestly, why would you ever go out to a packed bar again when you could have wine and a solid playlist on in the comfort of your home?

4. Or honestly, just spend a Friday night in without feeling lonely. Look, sometimes you're just beat and wanna drunk-watch dumb YouTube videos until you fall asleep. When you have a friend to do it with, it's a legitimately wonderful Friday night.

5. Cooking with them makes cooking 1,000 percent more fun. Whether it's a joint crockpot meal prep effort or an ambitious three-desserts-in-one project, having someone to help you and chat with makes you actually enjoy doing work???

6. You can borrow each others' accessories and clothes in times of need. This is a perk that comes with trusting each other, and since you're best friends, you know you have someone to ask when you need a good statement necklace.

7. You can be honest about the things that bug you. A random roommate or so-so friend can be hard to be honest around because people can be weirdos and view your "hey, can you take out the trash more?" as a personal attack. With your BFF though, it's a simple, quick talk with no fears of passive aggressive retaliation.

8. If you bring someone home, you don't have to worry about your roommate being a weirdo who's always on the couch. If you do bump into your roomate, it's actually great, because you'd want to show off how awesome your best friend is.

9. You have someone to talk to at the end of a garbage day. Sometimes the only thing that gets you through is have a roomie BFF to vent with.

10. Even after you move out, you'll always miss it. You'll be 47 and lounging in your own house but still miss the times you were eating Cheetos on your tiny futon with the best roommate in the world.
