Recently, Billboard Music released a list of songs they predict Taylor Swift will not be performing for her Eras tour. I think it's safe to say that Twitter was upset (to say the very, very, very, very least). As a long-time Taylor Swift fan, I have a CVS receipt-long list of songs I want to hear her perform live. I've narrowed it down to 10 that I NEED to hear her sing: (But let's be real, I'd listen to her sit and hum the alphabet for two hours)
1. "Long Live" While Taylor originally wrote this song fo her band, she has since dedicated it to her many loyal fans. When she sings, "I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you," I will ascend.
youtube.com / Via youtube.com 2. "All Too Well" I'm almost positive she'll tie this song in somehow. It's easily become one of her biggest hits since she finally gave us the 10-minute version. If you see me crying during this song, no you didn't.
Republic Records 3. "Love Story" This one is a classic. Did you really see Taylor Swift live if you didn't hear her perform "Love Story"? This song is where it all began for a lot of people.
youtube.com / Via youtube.com 4. "Dear John" I am jealous of every single person who was able to attend the Speak Now tour because of this song alone. The scathing lyrics and raw vocals? Put it directly into my veins. Bonus points if she brings back the fireworks.
youtube.com / Via youtube.com 5. "I Think He Knows/Lavender Haze" mashup This may be a very specific request, but the two songs go together so well, it would almost be a crime for her not to perform this. I apologize in advance to the people sitting near me at the concert.
Republic Records 6. "Cornelia Street" This is one of my all-time favorites, and the fact that she wrote it in the bathtub just makes it 10 times better. This one is for the Lover Fest that never happened. RIP.
youtube.com / Via youtube.com 7. "Delicate" 8. "I Did Something Bad" Now, I did see this live at the Reputation Stadium tour, but I need to see it again. It was simply a spiritual experience I think everyone should have the opportunity to witness.
Netflix 9. "Out of the Woods" 10. And "August" Finally, I need to hear at least one song from Folklore or Evermore . This one may be a long shot. I'll be thinking positive thoughts of salt air an the rust on your door to manifest this one.
