There are a million gorgeous hotels to choose from, but I'm excited to check out the W Maldives, which is on a super remote private island within the North Ari Atoll. I’ve been dying to take in sunrise and sunset vistas at each one but am most excited to experience a hike through the cavernous Antelope Canyon. After a week of roughing it in the wilderness I’m planning to post up at the Amangiri in Utah for a few days of rest and relaxation. "Spring doesn’t mean you have to pack your skis away for the season. You can extend the ski season by heading up to Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada. I’ve been to Whistler at the peak of the season, but April and May have average temperatures from 30s to 60s with skiable conditions though April and can extend into May. With fewer people at the resorts, the lines can be shorter and the slopes are less crowed. For dinner in the French Quarter, Longway Tavern lived up to its billing on Esquire's list of 2018's Best New Restaurants (I'm still dreaming about the English peas dish, made with cauliflower cream, country ham, and breadcrumbs). I stayed at an Airbnb, but next time I'm booking a room at Hotel Peter & Paul.
