Bible filled with encouraging scriptures backlit by the sun
Whether you're experiencing the heaviness of grief, the stress of something new, like a job change, or just the everyday hustle and bustle that can feel so overwhelming, many of us need encouragement right now. While turning to a friend or looking at funny memes can be a great way to lighten your mood, reading positive, encouraging Bible verses can hit you with a peace unlike any other. In fact, as Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Thankfully, God has us more than covered (per usual!). The scriptures are filled with encouraging Bible verses for women and men alike, for all kinds of situations you could be going through. This is echoed in John 14:27, which says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
Over a hundred additional peace-filled verses are ahead to bring you hope. (It’s also of note that some of the same messages are repeated several times throughout the Bible in various books. If you ask me, that’s a sign that God really wants us to hear those messages. Try meditating on them.)
Without further ado, here are uplifting messages of encouragement that God wants you to hear today (and every day) whether you’re going through hard times, want a short encouraging verse to memorize, or need to be reminded of how powerful God’s love is.
