Portsmouth, New Hampshire
A port city situated on the Piscataqua River, Portsmouth is rich with history, culture and a fall events schedule. The number one thing to do in Portsmouth is just walk around. The town is filled with early 19th-century homes and attractions that are even more beautiful this time of year. The town is also host to several events, ranging from an annual Halloween parade to a festival of witches late in October.
