1. He was born in Evansville, Indiana. He also lived in Champaign, Illinois for five years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

2. He has a longtime girlfriend. Dylan has been dating Ray Donovan actress Kerris Dorsey for a few years now. They met on the set of 2014's Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day where they played brother and sister.

3. He knows that 13 Reasons Why is a super intense show to watch. As soon as season 2 of the Netflix original series dropped, Dylan took to Twitter to warn fans about the new season's graphic content. The star wrote: "Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why, like season 1, can be unflinching, dark and even hard to watch at times. please view with caution, or with loved ones. if you or anyone you know would like resources after watching, please go to https://13reasonswhy.info . thank you."

4. His first role was on Drake & Josh. He played a kid named Jeffrey in a 2005 episode called "The Demonator."

14. He gets mistaken for actor Logan Lerman all the time. "Recently I was at the airport, and before I even got on my flight, I got three different Percy Jackson encounters," he told EW. "One time, this guy at this music festival would not let me off the hook that I was Percy Jackson. He was like, 'Quit lying to me, bro, I know you're Percy Jackson.' I was like, 'I swear to God, I'm not Percy Jackson.'"
