14 Brands Like Reformation You’re Going to Want to Shop ASAP
1. Abercrombie & Fitch
If you love Revolve’s denim selection (including Agolde, Mother and Citizens of Humanity) but would prefer something a bit more budget friendly, Abercrombie & Fitch is your best bet. The brand has undergone something of a makeover in recent years, and has tons of classic and trendy denim styles to shop, all of which come in both Classic and Curve cuts to better fit a wider range of body types. Of course, it also has some phenomenal wedding guest dresses, chic bodysuits and incredibly comfy athleisure to round out your wardrobe in style.
2. Shopbop
Shopbop carries a wide range of both established and up-and-coming designers, so there’s always something fresh and new to discover. Even better, the site has pre-organized collections to shop, like As Seen on Social, Most Hearted, Editor Finds Under $200 and seasonal trend breakdowns to really help you hone in on what you’re looking for. Because Shopbop is owned by Amazon, Prime members can enjoy free two-day shipping so you can start styling your new favorite wardrobe staples even faster.
3. FWRD
FWRD (pronounced “forward”) is actually owned by the same parent company as Revolve, and we like to think of it as the site’s luxuriously chic older sister. To give you a sense of FWRD’s style, Kendall Jenner was named creative director in 2021, so you can expect lots of sleek, sexy styling and fashion-insider vibes. The price point is typically higher than Revolve, with a slew of contemporary and designer brands to shop, like Loewe, Balenciaga, Khaite and Wardrobe.NYC, as well as hot beauty brands like Augustinus Bader and SK-II.
4. Reformation
Hoping to shop more eco-friendly brands this year? Reformation has perfected the art of crafting flattering-yet-sexy wardrobe staples that somehow straddle the line between trendy and timeless, all with an emphasis on transparency and sustainability. The most popular items are definitely the dresses, with cute options for day and more formal events, but the outerwear and denim shouldn’t be ignored. If you see something you like, we highly suggest you add it to your shopping cart ASAP, as popular styles tend to sell out quite quickly.
5. Lulus
A great budget-friendly alternative to Revolve is Lulus. Prices top out at about $170 (excluding bridal styles), but the vast majority of the items fall within the $60 to $120 range. And while there are lots of fun everyday pieces, like bodysuits, skirts and casual dresses, the real all-stars here are the wedding guest dresses and formal options. Just be sure to check the size chart and read through reviews before you order, as there seems to be some discrepancies across the site when it comes to sizing.
6. Showpo
Much like Revolve, Showpo carries tons of trendy pieces for both everyday wear and special occasions, just at a much more affordable price point. The Australian brand also carries a wider size range, with most pieces available in a size US 0 to 16. And to complete your look, Showpo has plenty of earrings, necklaces, belts, bags and other accessories to shop as well.
7. Lisa Says Gah
If it’s the quirky, kitschy Revolve styles you love most, you’re bound to become a fan of the California-based Lisa Says Gah. The brand is all about curating a selection of attention-grabbing styles entirely unlike the things you might find at popular mall brands or department stores. Of course, they do carry some better-known designers, like Stine Goya, Ganni, Agolde and House of Sunny, but there are also a ton of smaller brands you may not already be familiar with. And in recent years, the site has been putting a larger emphasis on sustainability, as an eco-friendly bonus.
8. ASOS
ASOS has long been a favorite for finding trendy styles at affordable prices, but one of the biggest draws is the impressive range of sizes available. There are numerous styles made specifically for tall and petite frames and a vast selection of plus size clothes, but there are also designs for folks who have big boobs, who are pregnant, who have wide feet or who have big bums/wide hips. ASOS also carries fan-favorite brands like Nike, & Other Stories and Topshop.
9. Rumored
Rumored is a small, New York-based brand that produces all its trendy hits in small batches to help minimize its environmental impact. The trend-forward clothes have a touch of ‘90s nostalgia and are sexy without being too overt, with tons of chic dresses for formal events, going out tops and cozy knits of every variety. Plus, everything on site is under $200, including outerwear.
10. Nordstrom
Just like Revolve, Nordstrom has something for everyone, no matter how you’d describe your personal style. Plus, it carries many of the same brands as Revolve, including Bardot, Free People, Norma Kamali and For Love & Lemons. That said, the in-house lines are not to be missed, including Zella athleisure, Caslon footwear and anything and everything from Open Edit.
11. Show Me Your Mumu
If it’s a stunning event dress you’re after, be sure to check out Show Me Your Mumu. The California-based brand has an impressive selection of cocktail, formal and party-ready frocks (including bridesmaids dresses), most of which fall between the $100 to $200 range. There are also tons of plus size options that go up to a size 3X.
12. Bardot
If your favorite pieces from Revolve tend to be party dresses and going out tops, you’ll likely have a lot to choose from at Bardot. The Australian brand puts a sexy spin on classic styles, with everything made with natural fibers that are sustainably sourced and ethically crafted. Most pieces fall in the $60 to $150 range, though there are a few pieces under and over that amount. (P.S. Don’t sleep on the outerwear—it looks and feels far more luxe than the under-$300 price tag would suggest.)
13. Meshki
If you’ve been living for the return of ‘90s minimalism, you’re likely going to fall head over heels for Meshki. The dresses, sweaters, jackets and separates are sleek and posh, with subtle twists on timeless silhouettes, including lace panels on slip dresses, rosettes on straps and exaggerated square necklines on bodysuits. Prices range from $30 to $200, with a handful of more expensive, heavily beaded styles.
14. NA-KD
NA-KD is a Swedish brand that regularly collaborates with influencers on micro collections that are incredibly chic (and not as limited as Amazon The Drop’s collabs). There are pieces to fill out your whole wardrobe—jeans, accessories, basics, shoes—but our consistent favorites are outerwear, dresses and coordinating sets. Almost everything runs for less than $200, and there is a small but ever-growing selection of plus-size pieces.
15. Aritzia
Trendy, feminine and a little vintage, Canadian mega-retailer Aritzia has won over many hearts with their celebrity-favorite Super Puff coats, sexy slip dresses and muted basics that go with everything. The draw? Quality clothes at a mid-range price point. It also has multiple in-house labels that cater to different aesthetics to fit any style, from minimalist workwear to sporty athleisure to flirty mini dresses.
