The 18 Best Beauty Street Style Looks From Milan Fashion Week
Featuring voluminous curls, pretty lip colors and — you guessed it! — more hair accessories.
No matter where fashion folks are in the world right now, they've made one thing crystal clear during the Fall 2019 shows: They are very into hair accessories at the moment. Showgoers piled 'em on in New York, and then they did the same in London. On the streets outside the Milan shows, which came to a close on Sunday, it became even more apparent that this trend is decidedly not going anywhere anytime soon.
What we love most about it is that nothing seems to be off limits. In the Italian city, we spotted plenty of the requisite Gucci barrettes, logo scarves and fancy headbands, sure. But we were also delighted to see more surprising adornments, like an Afro pick topped with a tiny fist that poked up from the hair; several shiny ponytail cuffs that served as hair jewelry; and sporty throwback accents like bucket hats and baseball caps.
On the makeup front, Milan showgoers were more experimental than their counterparts in other cities, which led to instances of royal-purple lipstick, bright-pink blush and neon eye shadow used as an inner-eye highlighter. How fun!
