The 20 Best Things to Buy at Trader Joe's This February
After a slow start for new items in 2024, Trader Joe's is back at it again, making our hearts beat a little faster when we walk into our favorite grocery store. This month, the neighborhood grocer has a slew of new products to counter any winter doldrums, including lots of cute groceries you'll love for Valentine's Day. Read on for the 20 newest products to hit TJ's shelves.
1. Peanut Butter Flavored Baking Chips
These baking chips will only be available for a limited time, so grab a bag while you can. Reviewers who have found the new chips are excited, with one Redditor saying "I will not bake with these…I will only guzzle them down." In addition to being a great snack, we're also excited to mix them in with chocolate chips for a fun new chocolate chip cookie variation. We're also considering melting them down for drizzling on desserts (brownies and ice cream sundaes come to mind) or using to make a fun variation on chocolate-dipped strawberries. Find them in the baking aisle for $2.99 for a 10-ounce bag.
2. Jersey Gouda
Another limited-time buy, this one is great to keep in mind for your next cheese board. Made from the milk of Jersey cows, Trader Joe's says this one is "aged for four to five months to give it a full body, creamy mouthfeel, and well-ripened, savory flavor." Pair it with fruit or slice it and add it to your next grilled cheese.

3. Egg Salad
This fan favorite is back with a new label—and a new recipe. For $4.99, you get a 10-ounce tub of cage-free, hard-boiled eggs, which are chopped and mixed with mayo, Dijon, diced celery and green onions. Trader Joe's suggests pairing it with toasted slices of French Brioche and adding Little Gem Lettuce to complete your lunch.

4. Aglio Olio Seasoning
This garlicky seasoning (aglio e olio is Italian for “garlic and oil”) is perfect for adding to olive oil for dipping, mixing into hummus or seasoning chicken or steak. It's a mix of garlic, salt, hot peppers and parsley and a jar will only set you back $2.49. After seeing a photo of the seasoning on a TJ's fan account, one Instagrammer already has some ideas: "I'm thinking atop of pizzas. Shrimp dishes too. Even mixed with butter and slathered on bread like garlic bread."
5. Thai Peanut Satay Sauce
About a year ago, Trader Joe's discontinued their popular Thai Peanut Dressing, much to Redditors' dismay. However, this reincarnation may scratch the itch. Made with lemongrass, shallot, garlic, galangal and tamarind paste, Trader Joe's recommends adding a bit of rice vinegar and whisking in order to recreate the dearly departed dressing. Find it in with the sauces for $2.29 for an 8-ounce jar.

7. Heart Shaped Macarons

Both are great but the vanilla strawberry is KILLER" says one Redditor. Find them for $3.99 for a 4-ounce box in the frozen dessert section.
8. Gummy Xs & Os
Redditors on the Trader Joe's Gummy Candy Discussion thread (yes, that's a thing) are split on these seasonal gummy candies. Some folks are running to grab bags before they sell out and others are turning their noses up. One excited commenter said, "The texture reminds me of iconic Scooby-Doo fruit snacks. They are firm but not hard... love when Trader Joe’s comes out with different gummies for each season, and I can’t wait to see what comes out next!" Find them in with the candy for $2.99 for a 14-ounce bag.
9. Valentine Sprinkle
If you were a fan of the taste and texture of Christmas sprinkles, pick up a pack of this limited-time buy in the baking section. 11. Jalapeno & Cream Cheese Crispy Wontons
Trader Joe's says these new little bites are a cross between a crab rangoon and jalape?o popper, and people who have gotten their hands on them already agree: "These are delicious and the edges crisped up nicely in my oven. Bet they are even better in an air fryer. Nice balance of creamy filling and crunchy edges. They are slightly flatter than the product photo but otherwise as pictured." And if you're not a fan of spice, fear not: Redditors note that these new wontons have a bit of spice but the cream cheese and Parmesan balance it well. Find them in the freezer case for $4.99.
12. Ricotta Cuoricini Ravioli
The perfect dinner for when you want that Barbie feeling with an Elle Woods-edge, look no further than TJ's heart-shaped ravioli, which is back for the winter season. Filled with ricotta and Parmesan with a balsamic reduction inside, Redditors say these need to cook for a bit longer than the package says (and at a simmer to prevent them from falling apart), but overall are a decent quick meal for when you're feeling fancy but short on time. Find them in with the refrigerated pasta.
13. Vegan Pepperoni
The jury's still out on whether or not this is the same vegan pepperoni that's used on the store's Meatless Meat Eater's Pizza, but this new product will be dropping at stores soon and will make your veggie pizza nights that much more delicious. Commenters on Instagram are excited about the February launch saying "Yaaaay!!! I hope they’re good! I haven’t found any I fully love yet." Expect them in stores the first or second week of February for $4.99 per pack.

14. Brown Sugar Cardamom Buns
We'll hand it off to Reddit for a proper review of this new item. "If you’re a cardamom lover looking for an indulgent treat, this will make your day. Full of flavor. A quick trip in the microwave and these become gooey cardamom heaven. Full of ingredients I typically avoid… but I love cardamom so much I tried them anyway, and they were so worth it," says one excited Redditor. Made in Denmark for TJ's, this two-pack retails for $4.49.
15. Garlic Shiitake Green Beans
Trader Joe's says these new frozen green beans are seasoned with a "seriously umami-licious, soy-based sauce that’s amped up with garlic & shiitake mushrooms." Commenters are excited about this 5-minute side dish and are sharing their quick dinners online, with one saying, "I just had these for lunch and they’re good! I wouldn’t go so far as to say as great as Din Tai Fung but for $3, I’ll be adding it to my weekly shopping list!" Find them in the frozen case for $2.69.

16. A Handful of Tiny Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels
"I saw them...and immediately diverted my cart…I could have forearmed the whole bunch!!" says one lucky Redditor who saw these new salty-sweet treats in the endcap display at their local Trader Joe's. They're perfect for on-the-go snacking, lunchbox treats, movie snacks or a fancy ice cream topping, and at 99 cents per package, you really can't go wrong.
17. Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste
Commenters who have found this jar at their local store are extremely excited. "You can use it anywhere you would use vanilla extract!!! For example any baked goods, buttercream, whipping cream, cold foam, French toast, etc. I have seen a lot of people are confused on the bourbon part, but it has nothing to do with the alcoholic beverage!! Bourbon in this label has to do where the vanilla comes from!!" says one. And at $4.99 for 4 ounces, it's a great price for adding rich vanilla flavor to all of your winter baking projects.

18. Rosatella Pasta Sauce
This new sauce is a cross between tomatoey marinara and a silky alfredo with the addition of cream and Grana Padano. Commenters agree that the packaging is cute and definitely worth repurposing, but they're split on the taste. Try it out over your favorite pasta and see for yourself which side you land on. Look for it with the new items or the pasta aisle for $3.99 per jar.
19. Calamansi Mango Sorbet
This new dairy-free frozen dessert is a citrusy, tropical sorbet that's a perfect antidote for the winter blues. Calamansi, a citrus fruit that's popular in Filipino cuisine, has a delicious flavor all its own, but is kind of like a combo of orange, lemon and lime. Although this is another super new find that's not on every store shelf yet, fans are excited to try it out. "This sounds so refreshing. I hope it has that perfect sweet-tart but not so sweet" says one Redditor. Find it for $3.79 in the dessert case.
