20 Celebrities Who Participated in the Women’s March 2018

The day after Donald Trump was inaugurated last year, hundreds of thousands of women from all over the country (and the world!) showed up to the Women’s March to protest his brand-new presidency. Though this year’s big event is on Sunday in Las Vegas, cities around the US still saw large crowds turn out to march against sexism and racism on Saturday. According to InStyle, the rally that kicked off the 2018 Women’s March in Los Angeles featured Viola Davis, Natalie Portman, and Allison Janney. Other celebs who showed up to march in LA include Mila Kunis, Elizabeth Banks, and Eva Longoria.

Of course, there were a higher concentration of celebrities in their hometown of LA than some other cities, but New York City also saw some familiar famous faces, as did Park City, Utah, and Atlanta, Georgia, where Alyssa Milano marched.

This year’s marches come during a time when many stars have been exceptionally vocal about sexual misconduct and equal pay in their industry. The resurgence of #MeToo opened the floodgates for women in Hollywood to share stories of sexual harassment, and later, several hundred women in Hollywood created TIME’S UP in support of low-income women who are victims.
