The 2018 Oscar Presenters Were Just Announced and It’s a Who’s Who of Favorite People

Updated

With only three weeks until the 90th Annual Academy Awards, we’ve been furiously streaming every film nom, picking out what foods we’re going to serve at this year’s viewing party (The Shape of Water-cress Salad and Lady Bird Chicken Wings, anyone?) and printing our Oscar ballots. And we have another reason to get excited (ya know, besides Jimmy Kimmel returning to host the whole shebang for the second year in a row): The Academy just announced the first 12 presenters for the March 4 awards ceremony and We. Can’t. Wait.

Past Oscar winners Viola Davis and Emma Stone will present, along with Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Big Little Lies Golden Globe winner Laura Dern, Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, comedienne and actress Tiffany Haddish, Lady Bird author Greta Gerwig, The Big Sick actor and cowriter (and everyone’s fave Silicon Valley nerd) Kumail Nanjiani, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, I, Tonya Golden Globes-nominated actress Margot Robbie, The Tribes of Palos Verdes actress Jennifer Garner and Oscar-nominated actress Daniela Vega (A Fantastic Woman).

Not sure about you, but we’re holding our breath for an Emma Stone/Mahershala Ali presenter combo that pays tribute to last year’s Best Picture mishap.
