Labor Day weekend may be over, but outdoor camping trips are kind of the move right now when it comes to staycations. Although, if you're not into spending hours trying to set up camp, you don't have to. This QOMOTOP pop-up tent was a must for my own backyard camping experience.

Yes, I really camped in my backyard in the Bronx. However, people heading into the legit woods will find this QOMOTOP pop-up tent to be an easy setup as it quite literally is a throw-and-go assembly. As an owner of the tent, it's folded in a large circular nylon bag. Once you take off the strap that holds the tent in its circular position, throw it, and it'll pop open into a bug-like igloo shape. You can keep the tent secured using the four ropes attached at the top of the tent with eight easy-to-use pegs included in the packaging.

For my 5'10” stature, the tent is fairly spacious, fitting up to four adults or one queen airbed. Plus, it's waterproof and also has a plethora of ventilation. There are two large entry windows on either side of the tent with double-sided zippers that also unzip into "French windows." Plus, there are four more zip windows on the sides of the tent and two roof vents.

While the 10-second setup is very nifty, I love it even more for the price. It's only $89 on Amazon.

Many customers' concerns surrounding the tent included putting the tent back in the bag, but one person wrote in their review that it takes just a few tries.

"I had to watch the instructional video three times because I’m a little challenged when it comes to spatial perception, but I did it and got it back in the bag with no problem," the shopper said.

In my own experience, the video helped immensely. I will say, you should keep the tent windows open when packing it up. The air being collected inside could force the tent to rip. But after a few tries folding, you'll be a master in no time.

Another customer who had a positive experience with the tent said it was "easy as pie to assemble."

"Can't see why there would be a negative review," they wrote. "Easy as pie to assemble, I felt like a super mom putting it up for my 8-year-old son! Extremely roomy, has neat vents for airflow."

There are other pop-up tents that also have Amazon shoppers' attention. If you're a stargazer, this Coleman two-person tent is an Amazon's Choice pick that offers window ventilation on the roof of the tent. And, if you're a family of five, the Moon Lence Instant Pop Up is another waterproof option that you can assemble in minutes.

Whichever tent you decide on, make sure you've got enough ventilation and that it pops for super easy setup.
