2. Mr. Yam's Sweet Potatoes $2.39 for 3 pounds
There's so much you can do with sweet potatoes around Thanksgiving: sweet potato casserole (with marshmallows or praline topping), sweet potato pie, mashed sweet potatoes and home fries for Black Friday brunch! Bonus: Mr. Yam in his ten-gallon hat, suit jacket and dress shoes is pretty charming.
3. Happy Harvest Cut Green Beans $0.64 for a 15-ounce can
When it comes to canned goods prices, Aldi has every other grocery store beat. In this house, Thanksgiving dinner isn't complete until the green bean casserole hits the table, so I need multiple cans.
4. Countryside Creamery Butter $3.29/pound
Now through the end of December is prime butter time. There's mashed potatoes, warm rolls, herbed butter to rub under and on the turkey skin and all of that baking you're going to do. Butter can add up quickly, but you can save at Alsi. They carry both salted and unsalted versions and butter usually goes on sale a few times during the holiday season, so keep your eyes peeled.
5. Savoritz Cracker Assortment $4.25
Want to keep your Thanksgiving guests out of the kitchen constantly asking what time dinner will be ready? Give them a beautiful charcuterie board to snack on! This list has a few ideas for snack-board making, starting with these crackers, my go-to for entertaining.

6. Baker's Corner Pumpkin Pie Mix $2.69 for a 30-ounce can
Nothing says Thanksgiving like pumpkin pie, and with this canned mix, it couldn't be easier! Just add evaporated milk and eggs, then pour into a crust and bake. Want to use pureed pumpkin instead? Aldi has that too.
7. Chef's Cupboard Cream of Mushroom Soup $.49 for a 10-ounce can
Some might see this and wonder why cream of mushroom soup is on a Thanksgiving essential list, but any green bean casserole fan knows exactly why! We already had the green beans, now we need this crucial ingredient. I see other grocery stores putting their soups on sale this time of year, but Aldi's everyday low price is still lower!
8. Friendly Farms Whipped Topping $.99
Who doesn't love a big scoop of whipped topping with a piece of pumpkin pie? Plus, if your holiday table includes one or more fluff salads, you will need multiple tubs! Worried this won't be as creamy and delicious as the name brand? Don't be!
9. Sweet Harvest Jellied Cranberry Sauce $1.59 for a 14-ounce can
We are a house divided when it comes to cranberry sauce, so I serve both homemade and the canned stuff. If you like yours to be in the shape of the can and jiggle on the serving plate, you will love this price! Aldi carries a canned whole-berry variety as well.
10. Acorn Squash $.89/pound
Squash is such an autumn staple, so of course it belongs on our Thanksgiving tables. Roast it, slow cook it, stuff it—there's so much you can do with this economical veggie.

11. Russet Potatoes $4.99 for 10 pounds
Did someone say mashed potatoes and gravy? If you're making them for a crowd, this huge ten-pound bag for under five dollars is quite the bargain. Need to save some space on the stove? You can make mashed potatoes in the Crock Pot!
12. Priano Italian Meat & Cheese Tray $6.49
This amazing meat and cheese tray takes all the guesswork out of building a tasty grazing board. With three different salamis and mild and smoked provolone cheese, this would be perfect with those crackers that are in the #5 spot on this list.
13. Chef's Cupboard French Fried Onions $2.89
The crunchy topping for a classic green bean casserole, these were a new item at my Aldi and I was so excited to see them! I always add extra to my casserole, so the extra big bag is a plus!
14. Winking Owl Wine $3.45
One of the things Aldi is best known for is their vast wine selection at rock-bottom prices. Winking Owl comes in both red and white varieties, so no matter if you are hosting, or want to take a bottle with you for a hostess gift, I promise you will find something tasty to enjoy.

15. Happy Farms Port Wine Cheese Ball $1.99
Speaking of wine, I love a great port wine cheese ball. Cheese and wine are a classic pairing, and this combines both in one bite. Adding a cheese ball to a charcuterie board, in addition to sliced cheeses, gives your guests options for topping their crackers. This is another item I buy a few of and keep in the fridge to use throughout the holiday season.

16. Stonemill Baking Spices $.99-$1.89
You can smell this picture, can't you? While Aldi always carries ground cinnamon ($.99), the ground ginger and cloves are only around this time of year. Stock up for all of your holiday baking needs.
17. Chef's Cupboard Stuffing Mix $.85
If you make homemade stuffing, my hat's off to you! I take a little help from the store and save money by avoiding the name-brand one. Believe me, this much cheaper version tastes just the same. You can choose from cornbread, turkey or chicken flavors. Plus, over in the Aldi Finds section I spotted an herb variety plus a few gluten-free options too. Boxes of stuffing are also great for the non-perishable food drives schools and churches do this time of year.
18. Specially Selected Cornichons $2.99
These herb-infused cornichon pickles are the last addition to our Aldi grazing board. The tiny German-style pickles are perfect for snacking and also come in a spicy chili variety for those who want to add a little kick to their Thanksgiving day.
19. Bake House Creations Pie Crusts $2.49 for a 2-pack box
Don't feel bad if you can't make a homemade pie crust (me either!). Cooking for Thanksgiving can be stressful, so take a little help where you can! These refrigerated crusts will work just fine for those pumpkin, apple and pecan pies everyone is looking forward to.
20. Pillsbury Ready-To-Bake Cookies $3.49
I was so excited when I saw these cute ready-to-bake cookies. We have made the pumpkin, snowman and bunny varieties, but I have never seen the turkeys! These are a great way to let the kids help with the holiday meal without making a huge mess.
21. Butterball Turkey $1.27/pound
Last, but certainly not least, the star of our Thanksgiving table, the Butterball turkey. Yes, Aldi does carry some name-brand products, but they still find ways to keep the prices lower than their competitors. The day I shopped these were $1.27 per pound, but I can promise the price will drop even more in the next couple of weeks. Plus, they usually offer their store-brand turkeys at an even lower price. Yet another great reason to check that weekly ad every Wednesday!
