35 Actually Smart Money Tips from Your Fave TV Shows
Okay, so you probably aren't thinking about money when you curl up with a bottle of wine and settle in for your regularly scheduled Friday night Netflix marathon. In fact, the whole ritual is likely designed to put your financial health as far out of your mind as humanly possible. I get it! We all need to unwind. But it turns out that many of your go-to shows—like, ahem, Friends, Sex and the CityandBridgerton, to name just a few—are chock-full of actually sound financial advice if you pay close enough attention.
Admittedly, sure, a lot of our fave TV characters are lovable partially because they demonstrate exactly what *not* to do when it comes to personal finance (looking at you, Carrie Bradshaw and your legitimately insane Manolo budget), but that doesn't mean there aren't a few helpful tips to be mined from your nightly screen seshes.
