Tales of the Cocktail announced its Regional Top 10 lists for 2024 and five Arizona bars made the cut.

Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, now in its 18th year, is considered one of the most prestigious mixology awards in the world. The coveted awards program, which started in 2007, recognizes all areas of the beverage industry from bartenders to journalists.

The bars named on various "Best of the U.S – Best of the West" lists will be narrowed down two more times, once to Top 10 nationally and internationally, then Top Four in each category. The winners will be announced on July 25 in New Orleans.

“The Spirited Awards is crucial to our industry, not only as an award but also as an appreciation for every Regional Top 10 Honoree's hard work and effort, which eventually motivates them to reach higher,” said Symphony Loo, Spirited Awards Asia Pacific (APAC) Co-Chair.

Previous wins: Century Grand was named "Best in the U.S. Cocktail Bar" in 2023, the first bar in Arizona to win the honor.

When will the winners be announced?

The winners will be announced at the 18th annual Spirited Awards Ceremony, which takes place on July 25, 2024, in New Orleans.
