6 Baton Rouge restaurants win Award of Excellence for their wine programs
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Six Baton Rouge restaurants took home the Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator, which is an American lifestyle magazine that focuses on wine, wine culture and wine ratings.
The restaurants in the capital city that were honored with the Award of Excellence include The Gregory, Solera – Tapas Bar and Restaurant, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Mansurs on the Boulevard, Tallulah Crafted Food and Wine Bar and Bin 77 Bistro and Sidebar.
According to Wine Spectator, Mansurs on the Boulevard has earned the honor since 1995.
Wine Spectator stated on their website that restaurants that earn the Award of Excellence offer “diners quality and diverse selections that are in line with the restaurant’s cuisine and price point. Each wine is listed with all pertinent information and clear presentation.”

According to Wine Spectator, in their 2024 Restaurants Awards, more than 3,700 restaurants from 50 states and 75 countries from around the world earned honors for excellence in their wine programs. The awards were split into three categories including Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award.
Forty-two restaurants in Louisiana made the list.
