Whether you’re single, married, or fall somewhere in between, we doubt spending time with your earbuds this Valentine’s Day is part of the plan. 1. This Is Why You’re Single: Contrary to the title, you’ll dig this show whether you’re single or in a serious relationship. On each episode, hosts and creators, Laura Lane and Angela Spera, candidly chat about their own real life dating disasters and embarrassing stories. They also welcome special guests, including certified clinical sexologist and relationship coach, Mal Harrison, who will be appearing on one of the show’s two Valentine’s Day episodes (scheduled to release on February 14). So, pour yourself a glass of wine and listen up!

2. DTR — The Official Tinder Podcast: Sick of thinking about your own online dating triumphs and disasters? On DTR, Peabody and Emmy Award-winning host, Jane Marie, teams up with a roster of hilarious celebrity guests to take control of singles’ Tinder profiles. She tweaks their bios, adds new photos, and has the power to choose which way to swipe on potential suitors. As you might expect, hilarity — and sometimes, romantic success! — ensues when matches are made.

3. Modern Love: For something a bit more classically romantic in nature, check out Modern Love, a collaboration between WBUR and The New York Times that showcases “stories of love, loss, and redemption.” You’ll be treated to famous voices (Greta Gerwig, Andrew Rannells, and Julia Stiles, to name a few) reading romantic essays and sharing their own stories of finding and losing love. You may need to grab tissues for some of these episodes, but, we promise, it will be well worth the tears.

4. Love Is Like a Plant: Remember the love fern that Andie gifted Ben in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? Well, we all know what happened when Ben let it die. (Spoiler alert: It wasn’t pretty.) Podcast hosts Sarah May Bates and Ellen Huerta do things like discovering how to properly water a so-called love fern and figuring out why “ghosting” is a thing. All of their episodes are short and digestible, so it’s easy to take them in two at a time.

5. Date/able: The Date/able podcast may focus on the dating scene in San Francisco, but if you’re single, you can relate to it no matter where you live. Each episode includes candid conversations with real people who share their experiences on dating in the US tech hub. If you feel like you’re the only person being put through the wringer as you seek out your special someone, be sure to give this one a listen.

6. Dear Sugars: Cheryl Strayed (AKA Reese Witherspoon’s character in Wild) and Steve Almond are “The Sugars” (the hosts), and they’re ready to hear all of your questions about love, relationships, and heartbreak. This The New York Times produced podcast may not be specifically focused on romantic love, but it will definitely give you all the feels. (Isn’t that kind of what Valentine’s Day is all about?)
