Whether you’re browsing from your sofa or out and about on a home goods hunt, At Home is filled with finds. It’s where some Southern designers turn to source the details that transform an unfinished house into a collected and beautiful home. This decor superstore is the affordable secret to so many stylish spaces, especially if you know what to look for. With so much to offer, some shopping strategy is in order for the best results. While wandering the many aisles or scrolling through the At Home website will certainly be fruitful with pieces that will become new favorites in your home, we got the inside scoop from some of the South’s top interior designers on what they most love to shop from At Home.

From living room details to tabletop centerpieces and even outdoor charmers, we’ve collected these designers’ favorite finds as a guide for future trips to At Home. These are the decor deals that designers come back for again and again.

Art

“My favorite home decor item to source from At Home is art! They have a huge selection of artwork to choose from in both canvas format and print format,” says Northern Virginia-based designer Sarah McCarty. “They also have a lot of size options which come in handy when you need a large statement piece.  Original artwork is not always in the budget, but At Home gives you a large variety of colorful and fun pieces at an affordable price.”

Lamps

“My second favorite home decor item to source from At Home is lamps! They always have fun, colorful lamps that add personality to any space,” McCarty adds. “Decorative lamps are not only functional, but they help tie a room together. It's important to find the right one and At Home has a great selection. I'm a big fan of their double gourd lamps.”

To complete the lighting look, Charleston, South Carolina designer Molly Basile shares that At Home is her destination for lamp shades.

“At Home also has some playful and cute custom looking lamp shades that can add an extra detail to your space without breaking the bank,” she says. “We love incorporating unique lamp shades to elevate a simple lamp.”

Vases

Basile also loves to shop At Home’s vases to style on coffee tables and credenzas. As does designer Ashley Hanley in Richmond, Virginia.

“At Home is one of my favorite places to source for vases,” she says. “They usually have a great collection of classic style vases that can be used as hurricanes for candles or vessels for flowers.”

Table Settings

“I have also come to find that they have a great assortment of tabletop ware—placemats, cloth napkins, plates, and glassware,” says Hanley, who likes to mix new At Home dinnerware and table settings with vintage ones, like in this set-up.

“These jadeite glasses were such an unexpected and fun find that mixed in beautifully with my client's gorgeous heirloom pieces,” she says. “A pair of etched glass hurricane jars served as floral vessels for a simple centerpiece in this historic Richmond row house's dining room.”

Pots & Planters

“The front porch is an extension of your home. It should be beautiful and inviting,” says McCarty; Which is why her last At Home picks are for outdoor home spaces.

“A great way to accomplish this is with colorful pots and planters for all of your plants,” she says. “Depending on where you shop, pots and planters can be quite costly. Fortunately, At Home has a huge selection of colorful and affordable options.”

Patio Umbrellas

McCarty’s final At Home shopping recommendation makes stylish, shady outdoor entertaining possible. “Patio umbrellas are a great way to add some decorative flair, while providing some much needed shade, to your outdoor oasis,” she tells us. “My go-to spot for sourcing patio umbrellas is At Home. Not only do they have a large assortment of sizes, they have so many fabulous colors and patterns to choose from! They even have some with a pom-pom fringe trim.”
