7 best moments from Kylie Jenner's pregnancy video
After months of speculation, Kylie Jenner confirmed not only that she was pregnant, but also that she had already given birth. On Sunday, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed that she and Travis Scott welcomed a little girl on Feb. 1. Jenner wanted to keep her pregnancy journey private but gave fans a glimpse into her world for the past nine months in a video titled “To Our Daughter.”
The video already has more than 27 million views (and counting). Here are seven of our favorite moments:
Kylie and Travis hang out a lot: Throughout the nearly 12-minute video, the young parents look in love and are very affectionate. They also have spent a lot of time together over the past nine months — more time than some people suspected, just because they hadn’t documented everything on social media. The rapper was present at her various doctor’s appointments, she joined him on tour, and they spent time with each other’s families. Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods brings up the couple’s crazy “chemistry.” When talking to the baby girl, Woods exclaims, “Your mother and I were living our lives, having fun. She met your father and they just hit it off.”
The pregnancy was a (good!) surprise: Jenner surprised her BFFs with her pregnancy test: Her friends found out she was pregnant at the same time she did, when Jenner casually took the test in the bathroom while her girlfriends were over. Jenner then passed them the stick, saying, “Surprise.” Despite the shock, becoming a mom is something Kylie’s always wanted. “When you’re 20 years old, you’re just figuring out your life,” Woods says. “You don’t know what you want, you’re an indecisive teenager and you’re just becoming a young adult, and there was one thing that your mom knew for sure, and that was you.” Another one of Kylie’s pals says the makeup mogul wanted a baby “ever since she turned 15.” They all agreed that she was “born to be a mom.”
Baby Jenner has a seriously fashionable closet: The camera pans to the little girl’s closet, which has (at least) five racks of shoes and is already stocked with a lot of pink clothes.
Meet Chicago West: Kim Kardashian debuts her new baby girl. “She looks completely different, she’s so little,” Jenner says in the video. When Jordyn Woods asks Kim if they’ve decided on a name, she responds, “I think we’re gonna go with Chicago.” That got Kylie’s stamp of approval. Kim also tells Kylie that she has to “school” her on what her “vagina is about to feel like.”
Kylie really craved In-N-Out Burger: The baby gets what the baby wants, and that was a cheeseburger with some fries. In one clip, Jenner is seen talking with her doctors, saying that she’s gained 20 pounds so far. The doctor recommends that she gain between 28 and 35 pounds and do some cardio, exclaiming, “If you’re going to eat, you need to exercise.” Jenner responds, “It’s just, In-N-Out these days, literally tastes like — it’s the best thing I’ve ever had.” The doctor responds by telling her to “never” eat In-N-Out, so what does Jenner do? In the next clip, she’s seen ordering a double cheeseburger and fries well-done. Jenners … they’re just like us!
Hi, Dream Kardashian: Rob Kardashian makes an appearance, visiting Chicago West with his baby girl. Kim can be seeing snapping a family pic of Rob, Dream, Kylie, and Chi.
Kylie embraced her bump: Despite reports throughout Jenner’s pregnancy that she was struggling with her growing body, the 20-year-old seemed completely comfortable with her baby bump. Throughout the video, which was taken over nine months, she poses for the camera during different milestones and proudly embraces showing off her bump.
There’s still one more announcement Kylie needs to make, as fans eagerly await the name of her baby girl.
