Those who regularly tune into TLC's 7 Little Johnstons know how competitive the reality TV family can be. Recently, the whole family came together for a friendly but intense go-kart racing series—and you can bet there were a couple of fender benders along the way.

In a sneak peek clip TLC shared exclusively with ParadeTrent and Amber Johnston and all five of their kids—Jonah, AnnaLiz, Alex and Emma—put the pedal to the metal.

"I'm just driving and I'm making a turn, and Jonah hits me, rear-ends me," Anna explained to producers as footage of the collision played out.

"I was just racing, and Anna was just too slow," Jonah said in defense of the crash.

Meanwhile, Anna defended her driving, telling the camera, "And he says it's my fault because he was going around. But you have to use those moves and those driving skills to go around the correct way without hitting somebody."

She added: "He tried to think he was going to be slick and try to get around me. Blocked his a--, made all the cars stop."

After the first race, the Johnston family pulled their go-karts back into the pit "to find out who was in the top so they can compete in the next race," as Trent explained. That's when the second fender bender happened.

When Emma pulled in behind her brothers, she accidentally pushed on the gas instead of the brake pedal. Jonah and Alex grumbled  as their sister insisted, "I didn't mean to!"

"OK, but that's what we talked about, with you riding close to people when you're driving your real car," Trent lectured her.

Meanwhile, Emma admitted to producers, "I was trying to pull in the go-kart, and it was just a mistake."

To see which Johnston came out on top in the family-wide go-kart competition, tune into the newest episode of 7 Little Johnston on Tuesday, March 19, at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
