“We are excited to introduce more bold and fashion forward fits this season. While we believe denim is tried and true, experimenting with new shapes allows our customers to express themselves by making denim more than just a staple wardrobe piece, but a true statement,” said Sacha Gomez de Zamora Ford, 7 For All Mankind global president.
The women’s range offers corset-seamed dresses, column and maxi denim skirts and lightweight knit tops. The Willow, an exaggerated palazzo shape, is the brand’s hero denim item for women. The super wide-leg cotton jean comes in Outset, a dark blue wash with a worn-in look and Clean Slate, a light and bright wash. A cropped denim shirt is also available in Clean Slate.
Studs are also a key theme, added to a Trucker jacket, button-down denim shirt and straight-leg Tess jean.
The men’s range spans pleated denim overshirts, military overshirts and the Ryan, a modernized straight jean that is loose from hip to hem. Some items are made with Italian fabrics.
Key washes include a vintage-inspired indigo called Air and a red-tinted black called Fire. An overshirt and straight-fit jeans is available in Earth, a bleached down indigo that is then dyed and distressed to resemble the color of Earth.
Shot by Sonia Szóstak and Jeremy Everett, the “Forever LA, Forever Mankind” campaign pays homage to the industrial history of both Los Angeles and the denim industry, the brand stated. Locations included Los Feliz just off the iconic Sunset Boulevard, a retro car wash and Wright Ranch.
Jamie Mizrahi, stylist to Jennifer Lawrence, Adele, Riley Keough, Jeremy Allen White, Katy Perry and Nicole Richie, styled the campaign. Mizrahi lent her styling expertise to the shoot, blending her own classic laidback California style with the brand’s ethos of being a California lifestyle brand.
“My personal style syncs with the brand’s classic aesthetic. Styling for me is about capturing a lifestyle, and 7 For All Mankind embodies that effortless cool factor,” Mizrahi said. “As someone who lives in denim, working with the brand was not only a fun and instinctive experience for me, but a nod to where many of us started our style journey—with that unforgettable pair of jeans that stands the test of time.”
