7 Things We'd Love to See Ikea Sell Next
Since we've heard the news that Ikea now has an in-store candy shop, we've wondered how our favorite retailer for all things Swedish will branch out next. We have a few suggestions (and we're not totally joking):
1. Swedish Massages
After a day of comparing bookcase sizes, we could use a little on-brand relaxation.
2. Akvavit, Glogg, and Other Boozy Swedish Specialties
Get a liquor license and we'll happily spend an evening there (we already come for breakfast and lunch, anyway).
3. Vacation Packages
Because when you're stuck in Saturday crowds, fighting over the last EKTORP, you suddenly want to get far, far, far, away.
4. Tiny Houses
IKEA already does charming and efficient like no other store, so this seems like a no-brainer.
5. Language Lessons
It's about time we knew what all the product names meant.
6. A Swedish Meatball Delivery Service
Because forgetting to buy the bag of frozen meatballs on the way out is so disappointing.
7. Clothes, Through a Partnership With H&M
It would make for truly one-stop shopping. Buy the closet, the hangers, and the wardrobe, courtesy of the other Swedish brand to really take hold in America.
