7 Things to Remember Before 'Station 19' Season 7 Premieres
'Station 19'
Station 19 and the rest of the TGIT lineup finally return on March 14, but it feels like eons since the series was on the air. That's because it's been close to a year since we last saw the Station 19 firefighters.
Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and the rest of the crew have a lot on their plates as the series heads into the final season. When we last saw the Seattle first responders, they were enjoying a night out at the Firemen's Ball before the venue's floor collapsed and sent the entire event into chaos.
Here is everything you need to remember before Station 19 returns this week so you can jump right back into the action.

What Happened in the Last Episode of Station 19? 7 Things to Remember Before Season 7
1. Jack (Grey Damon) collapsed
Jack suffered a major concussion early on in Season 6 when he hit his head on the kitchen oven in a freak accident. Brushing off that injury turned out to be a massive mistake. In the Season 6 finale, he smacked his head again when the floor caved in, and this time he collapsed. The finale cliffhanger saw the team rush to help him. Head injuries are no joke and Jack's fate hangs in the balance as we head into the Season 7 premiere.
2. Andy was promoted to captain
Before the collapse, Chief Ross (Meryl Dandridge) informed Andy that she would officially captain the station. Several of her co-workers, including Vic (Barrett Doss), Jack and Ben (Jason George) were thrilled for her. Theo (Carlos Miranda) and Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe), however, had less than stellar reactions to the news.

3. Theo and Vic broke up...kind of
Theo took Andy's promotion so badly that he dumped Vic because she had the nerve to be happy for her friend. The couple had been on the rocks for the back half of the season as Theo being interim captain took its toll on their relationship. Vic showing support for Andy was the straw that broke the camel's back and they got into a huge fight at the ball. It wasn't 100 percent clear that the relationship was completely done, though.
4. Theo hooked up with Kate (Kiele Sanchez)
The technicality of that aforementioned break-up is going to be important because Theo waited maybe five minutes before hooking up with Kate in the coat room. Jack caught them fooling around and was on his way to tell Vic about it when the floor collapsed. With Jack unconscious and Kate significantly injured by the floor collapse, it's unclear when, or if, Vic will find out about what Theo did...and whether it counts as cheating. Prepare for the Station 19 version of "We were on a break!"

5. Chief Ross was also injured in the floor collapse
Chief Ross was one of the people who fell through the floor in the collapse. It was a wake-up call for Sullivan who had ended their relationship earlier in the evening when Ross told him that she promoted Andy over him. Seeing Ross unconscious in the rubble helped Sullivan realize that they belonged together and he jumped into action to save her. She was revived by the end of the finale, but it remains unclear whether she'll stay chief after her and Sullivan's relationship went made public.
6. Dixon (Pat Healy) died at the ball
One of the people who didn't survive the disaster was the former head of Seattle Fire Department, Michael Dixon. He's been a nemesis for the Station 19 firefighters since Season 1. Travis (Jay Hayden) attended to Dixon, but his injuries were too severe. He died amongst the rubble before they could transfer him to the hospital. He and Travis were able to share some kind words about Dixon's son, and Travis' ex, Emmett (Lochlan Buchanon) though.
7. Maya (Danielle Savre) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato) helped deliver a baby in the chaos
Maya and Carina were very late to the ball after a lovemaking session at home. They arrived just in time to help a pregnant waitress deliver her baby amongst the chaos of the floor collapse. The young mother was determined to give her baby up for adoption and Maya and Carina are eager to become parents so stay tuned of those storylines become intertwined.
Those are the major events from the Station 19 Season 6 finale. Get ready to jump back into the action when Station 19 returns for its seventh and final season on Thursday, March 14 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
