'7th Heaven' Cast Then and Now — See What the Camden Clan Has Been Up to Since 2007

From 1996 to 2007, 7th Heaven gave us a glimpse of life as part of the Camden family, consisting of a cast of characters led by patriarch Eric Camden, a reverend, his wife Annie and their seven children.

For 243 episodes, we hung on as each member of the Camden bunch navigated the trials and tribulations of growing up, naturally making plenty of mistakes along the way. Perhaps what many found most comforting was the way Eric and Annie guided them through each misstep — and had us wondering how they made it look so easy!

Sibling drama of the 7th Heaven cast — on and off the screen

For the 7th Heaven cast, the relationships forged on the series were more than just that of co-workers. Jessica Biel, who played Mary Camden, and Beverley Mitchell, who played her sister Lucy, dealt with a rough patch in their relationship during filming of the show — one similar to that of any real-life pair of siblings.

"We used to butt heads and she used to drive me fricking nuts and we used to literally want to battle," Mitchell recalled to Us Weekly. "There were times where I just remember going home, because we would carpool home [from the 7th Heaven set], and we would just yell at each other all the time."

Luckily, the on-screen siblings have patched things up over the years, and Mitchell credits Biel as being one of her closest friends, there for her during some of the most difficult times of her life.

"I call her like my sister. I don’t have brothers and sisters, so she has always been that type of relationship for me because I’m an only child. I adopted her, whether she likes it or not. She doesn’t have a choice," she said.

As for Biel and Mitchell's relationship with their on-screen big brother, played by Barry Watson, their dynamic was a little bit different.

"I think they were always, sort of, lingering around my trailer," Watson told Us Weekly, poking fun at the teenage crushes the two girls had on him. “I’d walk out and they [would] just, like, pretend [that] they weren’t really there.” Can you blame them? Older brother Matt Camden was dreamy as can be!

While 2016 marked 20 years since the series premiered, the show still remains an iconic part of late 90s, early 2000s culture. Here, take a look at what the 7th Heaven cast has been up to since it wrapped up in 2007.
