'7th Heaven' Co-Stars Jessica Biel and Beverley Mitchell Reunite
Jessica Biel and Beverley Mitchell recently reunited on the red carpet, and the new photos are giving fans a healthy dose of nostalgia.
The two 7th Heaven actresses were photographed together on Wednesday, May 31, during the Los Angeles premiere of Freeform's Cruel Summer held at Grace E. Simons Lodge.
The Candy star, 41, who also serves as executive producer of the Freeform thriller-mystery series, looked chic as ever in an all-black ensemble which included an oversized blazer and a hip-hugging maxi dress with a scoop-neck and fringe skirt. She completed the look by styling her hair in a neatly braided bun and adding some silver jewelry, a rosy face of subtle makeup and knee-high leather boots.
Mitchell, 42, opted to bring some color to the showing, rocking a deep blue velvet blazer and matching pants. Keeping the look relaxed, she accessorized with a few layered gold necklaces, a peachy lip color and wore her shoulder-length lob in a sleek middle part.
Others in attendance during last night's premiere include NSYNC's Lance Bass, who also has ties to the late '90s TV series, which served as his small-screen acting debut. He's also Biel's husband, Justin Timberlake's former bandmate. Timberlake was not present at the event.
"I can't wait to see Lance tonight," Biel told ET reporters. "It's a lot. There's a lot of friends from the '90s who are here tonight."
"It's literally like a high school reunion for all of us," Mitchell added. "I mean, it's amazing."
She also revealed that while she and Biel haven't appeared on-screen together in quite some time, the two stayed in touch over the years. "Jessie and I see each other often, cause obviously, like, she's my bestie, she's my ride or die. But it's always fun to be able to come out and support her and cheer her on."
"I'm so proud of everything that she's done and this is so amazing," Mitchell concluded.
The second season of Cruel Summer is set to premiere Monday, June 5, on Freeform. According to reports, the upcoming season of the popular anthology drama series will tell a whole new story about an intense teenage friendship set in the early 2000s.
