At 81, Martha Stewart Shows Off Her 'Great' Skin In A New Salon Selfie
  • The businesswoman claims to have never had plastic surgery, and swears by Mario Badescu face masks.

  • She also maintains a consistent diet–citing green juice, tuna fish salad and chicken as some of her daily go-to foods.

Martha Stewart is absolutely glowing in a natural salon selfie she recently posted to Instagram. The celebrity chef and businesswoman posted a quick pic from the shampoo chair of her stylist’s–Frédéric Fekkai–salon.

The 81-year-old was feeling herself and her glowy skin. And no one could blame her!

“The light was perfect for a selfie!!! Absolutely no re-imaging!!!” She wrote. “Skin looking good after a mostly dry January and Pilates @bedfordpilates every other day.” Of course, Martha’s fans and celebrity friends were blowing up the comment section with praise.

Fashion designer Zac Posen and celebrity makeup artist Gucci Westman threw out lots of “??.”

Many others wrote that the pic was a HUGE slay. Others thought the snap was a bit too good to be true, so the television personality posted an additional three selfies a few hours later, and detailed some of her skincare secrets.

“Great derms my whole life,” she wrote. “Currently Dr. Daniel Balkin and Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali. Great diet. Great exercise and did I mention amazing facials @mariobadescu for the last 40 years!”

The Mario Badescu IG account even responded in the comments. "Thank you Martha ??," the brand wrote. "It is an honor to take care of your skin!"

With her skin looking so young and healthy, there has been speculation Martha may have had plastic surgery past, but she maintains her flawless face is only from her diet, exercise, and beauty routines.

“I have never had plastic surgery,” she told the New York Times last April. “You can absolutely say that. No knife on my face, neck or back.” In 2020, she divulged to WSJ that she dabbles in injectables (such as fillers or collagen stimulation) “twice a year in moderation.”

So what does Martha do to get that magnificent glow? Lots of face masks. Mario Badescu has been a well-known brand favorite for the holiday crafter for many years.

Martha once detailed her skincare routine on her personal website, and said that face masks are always the first step of her daily routine (which begins at 5 a.m.!) She recommends the collagen-boosting formula mask for mornings, and the revitalin moisturizer at night.

In 2021, Martha told Allure that by the time she steps out of the shower each morning, she’s already applied 2 or 3 serums, an eye cream, and her favorite Clé De Peau Beauté foundation and sunblock. Talk about a skincare regimen.

For her diet, Martha reportedly enjoys green juices and full vegetables. She also told Harper’s Bazaar that she likes tuna fish salad for lunch and chicken for her dinners. Martha tries to stay away from pastries and breads as much as she can, too.

You know the selfie is really bomb because Martha also made it her new Instagram profile pic. Go off, queen!
