Jennifer Love Hewitt is known for her talent and beauty, but like everyone else, she gets insecure about herself sometimes.
As she turned 44 on Feb. 21, the actress shared a makeup-free selfie on social media with a poignant message about aging.
In the photo, Hewitt looks to be in her bathroom, wearing a pink shirt and showing off her flawless skin and soft smile.
She wrote an honest yet positive caption to go along with it, stating, "Woke up at 4am and was 44! I am deeply grateful, blessed, happy, sometimes insecure about aging, a mom of three incredible babies, married to the most handsome and awesome man, and really excited to see what this year has for us. I feel magic in the air and I love magic. Off to work…"
The star added a sweet message to her late mother, and even divulged a bit more about her birthday plans: "Thank you mom for giving me life. I miss you so much. Gonna get my job done and my birthday cheers on later. Ps Atticus got up way too early and sang me happy birthday! My heart melted. Now go have a great day everyone. It’s my birthday you have to do it! ??."
Hewitt got many birthday wishes in the comments from friends like TV personality Amanda Kloots, singer Jessie James Decker, and actress Tracie Thoms.
The official social media account for Hewitt's current series, 9-1-1, also wished the 44-year-old a happy birthday, writing, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN ??."
