9/11 Memes to Share and Commemorate 22 Years Since the Terror Attacks

The 22nd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Flight 93 is a time of somber reflection on the lives lost. It's also a time to honor and celebrate the heroes who saved others, encouraged unity and whose patriotism and kindness proved undying. The end of the stalemate War on Terror in Afghanistan—that cost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars—in 2021, is another reminder of how far we've come since 9/11 and how far we still have to go. These 9/11 memes honor the fallen, celebrate the lives of those who gave theirs and remind us why we'll never forget.
And as a disclaimer; while "memes" typically mean funny images or jokes on the internet, these 9/11 "memes" are just more so posts online that respectfully remember those lost during such an incredible American tragedy.
